If you haven’t yet paid your Local Property Tax, then the Revenue Commissioners are urging you to get in touch with them before Wednesday’s deadline.
Speaking on RTÉ’s Today with Sean O’Rourke programme, Vivienne Dempsey, Local Property Tax Manager with the Revenue Commissioners, said once people make an effort to engage with the Revenue before Wednesday they will be deemed to be compliant.
Ms Dempsey said the LPT office has been dealing with thousands of queries from people looking for information about payments. Over 7,000 people have paid the property tax by credit or debit card within the last 24 hours.
