The National Minimum Wage for the UK has gone up and has now increased to £6.31 for adults. The rise, first announced in April of this year, follows the recommendations of the UK’s Low Pay Commission.
Other changes include the following:
- The rate for 18-to-20-year-olds has increased by 5p to £5.03 an hou
- The Minimum Wage for the 16-to-17-year-old age group has now gone up by 4p to £3.72
